Homeplace Restoration

& the Second Chance Beauty Program, Norfolk, Virginia

A trade, a license and a fresh start

The Homeplace Restoration & Second Chance Beauty Program is a partnership of Homes in the Hood, the Virginia State Barber and Beauty Association (VSBBA) and community sponsors. It opens a door into the barber and beauty professions for people who are working to rebuild their lives.

Barbering and cosmetology are skilled, licensed careers that can lead to steady income, a chair of your own, and a business that serves your community.

The program is being organized now. Sponsors and partners who join early help shape it. Become a sponsor.
